1. About The SELF Alliance

The SELF Alliance is a philanthropic initiative operated by SELF Technology Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. The SELF Alliance is independent from SELF App (operated by SELF Technology Pty Ltd, Australia) and SELF Chain technology (operated by the BVI entity), though products built through the Alliance may use SELF Chain technology under licence.

2. Idea Submissions

By submitting an idea through our submission form or by email, you confirm that the idea is your own original work (or that you have authority to submit it on behalf of your team or organisation). Submission does not create any contractual relationship or obligation on either party. Selection for build is at the sole discretion of the Alliance Approval Committee.

3. Intellectual Property

If your idea is selected and built, ownership of the resulting product software passes to you (the originator) upon delivery. SELF Technology Ltd retains no equity in the product. SELF Chain core technology remains owned by the BVI entity and is licensed into the product, not assigned. The boundary between product IP and underlying chain technology will be defined in the agreement with selected originators.

4. SELF Credit & Communications

Selected originators agree to credit and tag SELF in all press releases, social media, and public-facing communications. SELF will be credited as the technology infrastructure partner in perpetuity. These obligations are a condition of selection and build.

5. Maintenance & Support

SELF provides complimentary lifetime maintenance and upgrades for products built through the Alliance, at no ongoing cost to the originator. The scope and delivery of maintenance will be defined in the agreement with selected originators.

6. Data & Privacy

Information submitted through our form or by email is used solely to evaluate your submission and communicate with you about The SELF Alliance. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Contact details may be retained for the duration of the evaluation process and beyond if your submission progresses.

7. Limitation of Liability

The SELF Alliance website and submission process are provided on an "as is" basis. SELF Technology Ltd makes no warranties regarding selection, build timelines, or outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SELF Technology Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or submission of ideas.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
